April 2021 Newsletter
A Message from Our president
March was another busy month for the SFBAC chapter and we thank those who offered 604 pro bono coaching sessions for the CA Women’s conference. We realize many more want to participate and look forward to offering more opportunities in the future. Pro bono coaching feeds our innate desire to be of service and share the value of coaching far and wide..
We are looking forward to International Coaches Week coming up, May 4 -10, where we will be offering more opportunities for our coaches to join in and share their skills and expertise. More information coming soon.
I invite you to help us grow and develop by letting us know where you would like us to expand. We are looking into the future with a desire to do and be more as a chapter. That’s where you come in; We want you to be a part of that growth with us.
We continue to seek volunteers who want to work alongside the Board or lead initiatives as well to help us grow in service to our members.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me [email protected] or any of the Board with your ideas or questions. We welcome you!
Spring is here and hope that it will bring joy and color into our lives that have been darkened by the pandemic.

Program & Event Spotlight
What is Culture? The water we swim in. Culture often is considered to be the integrated pattern of our knowledge, beliefs, and behaviors. Culture has a huge impact on how we do our work, yet we often don’t realize it. It’s represented in statements like: that’s just how things are done around here. We don’t necessarily notice the influence of culture until someone draws our attention to it. Like a fish in water likely doesn’t notice the water it swims in.
Culture impacts an individual’s ability to lead others. If you are an executive coach looking to increase your acumen and impact, check out the added dimension culture coaching can offer. In May, we will dive into understanding culture action plans, team dynamics and the alignment of culture and strategy. Is culture coaching the missing link to greater impact? Come find out..
