A Message from Our president

Welcome to 2020!

Did you know that there are 747 ICF Global members who affiliate with the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter?  Yes, this is true!  As a result, you are signed up to our new website automatically as a local chapter member and receive our newsletter. Did you also know, as a member you receive discounted pricing for SFBAC  programs?  Please make sure you log in to receive those discounts!

Some members asked questions, which we’d like to share with you.

  • How can you become a member?
  • How can you log in?
    • We sent you information via the email address that is associated with your ICF Global membership. If you are still having trouble, please reach out to [email protected]
  • Does SFBAC offer health or liability insurance?
    • No, we do not. However, the ICF Global website (www.coachfederation.org) provides access to Business Solution Partners, including liability insurance.
  • How does AB 5 (California Assembly Bill 5) for contracting services affect coaching?
    • We are not sure how this bill will affect individual coaches and encourage you to check with the State of California, and possibly a lawyer, to determine the effects on your practice(s).
  • What networking opportunities do we offer? (see this newsletter)  We’d love to see you!
    • In February, we will launch a set of Coaches Corners around the Bay Area.
    • On March 11, please join us for a fantastic in-person program in Berkeley.
