A Message from Our president
Sometimes life can be exhausting with many competing demands and pressures. The pandemic has frayed our nerves and temperaments.
This quote resonated with me as the Chapter moved into the second half of the year. Some wonderful members have responded to our call for engagement and help through our Coaches Corner events and outreach efforts, bringing new ideas to add value to our efforts for our members.
As President of the Chapter it is my role to keep things moving forward, ensure the cohesiveness and effectiveness of the team while acting on our goals to serve our community. It also reminds me that while I may be required to lead, volunteer activities such as these feel better when we work well together and support each other. There are many challenges in the world including those we may be experiencing in our personal lives. I want to thank and acknowledge all those who are working to bring valuable programs and events connecting while with our membership throughout the year.
If you have people in your life who always walk beside you - feeling gratitude can be a great way to help us heal from the inside out and remain hopeful for the future.
In the spirit of supporting and giving to others through the power of coaching, May is International Coaching Week ( ICW) and I invite you to keep checking our website for updates on our plans for how we will be participating this year. Looking forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and webinars.

The old adage, work smarter not harder, is a lesson many coaches don’t embrace when starting and growing their business.
There are a couple critical areas where it has been proven that investing some money will pay dividends to you not only in building your business, but also in saving you time and contributing to your own personal well-being. Leveraging a systems strategy—selecting and utilizing just a couple core systems –is one of them.
Come learn about some of the systems that are out there, what they can do for you to streamline and reduce your administrative workload, and why you might want to utilize one or more for your business. Register today for our July 14 at 7 pm program: The Advantage of Utilizing a Systems Strategy to Support Building Your Coaching Business
