“When you surrender and accept the beautiful stillness around you, when you give up all thoughts of the past, all worries and anxieties of the future, when you surround yourself with similarly positive people, when you tame the mind, when you keep healthy, there is zero chance of burnout.”

- James Altucher

President’s Message

Introduction and Welcome to our 2016 SFBAC Board members!

We hit the jackpot in people stepping up to participate as 2016 board members to provide leadership, creativity and sheer muscle for SFBAC! Additionally, we are so very grateful for our continuing and retiring board members. There is so much that goes on “behind the curtain”, outside of our monthly chapter meetings in fulfilling our mission to create opportunities that build connection, creativity, competency and commerce for all of our members. Please join me in gratitude to those who are continuing to serve and as we welcome new faces to our SFBAC leadership team!

February Monthly Gathering

It’s all about relationships

Attachment theory, called by some “the science of love”,  is the leading approach to relationships today and have been validated by hundreds of research studies. Understanding attachment is critical if you are helping your clients with their relationships, and especially their romantic ones. At the same time, it has important implications for improving your connection with your clients (proven to be one of the most significant factors in the success of a counseling process).

In this workshop you’ll have a chance to explore your attachment patterns experientially, and will receive practical tools that can be applied to the coaching process.
